| Instruction for Writing the Paper: |
| The instruction for your writing the full-length paper is prepared here as a PDF file. Please read this file carefully and cooperate in the uniformity of appearance of each paper and the overall aesthetics of the printed proceedings. The deadline for submitting the full-length paper is 10 September 2007. Please do not fall behind; our schedule for preparation of the Conference is rather tight. Authors are recommended to write their papers using LaTeX or Microsoft WORD, tenplates of which are prepared and can be downloaded from the link described below. |

| All necessary files (prepared as a compressed file) for using LaTeX can be downloaded by clicking here.
After extracting the downloaded ZIP file, you may find <VF2007.tex>, <deffile.tex>, <VF2007.dvi>, and the folder 'figure' containing a figure file (fig01.eps). Please put everything in the same folder which you will make in your computer when downloading. The only thing you should do is to simply modify (overwrite) the <VF2007.tex> file in order to write your own paper. But before overwriting, you had better keep the original file just in case when you are in trouble. (Of course you may download the files from this page again.)
In LaTeX, figures are supposed to be prepared in EPS format and put in the folder 'figure'. (If you are familiar with LaTeX, you may change this as you wish.) A sample of the output can be seen here in a PDF file. Please download this file too, and confirm similarity (or uniformity) of appearance as compared to your paper. Once you have completed writing the paper, please send all necessary files in LaTeX including figure files in EPS format to the secretariat of the Conference (yoshizu@riam.kyushu-u.ac.jp) before 10 September 2007. If the total file size is too large to send through email, please contact us before sending or you may send us a CD containing all necessary files. |
| Template for Microsoft WORD Users: |
| A template in Microsoft WORD is also prepared here (although honestly this template is not so sophisticated). You may overwrite this file, but just in case you had better copy the original file before starting. A sample of the output in PDF file, produced from the template, can be seen here for your check. Please cooperate in making the appearance of the output as close as possible to this sample of the output (or original template). Once you have completed writing the paper, please send the completed WORD file in order for us to make a PDF file. (The organizing committee may modify your file to unify the appearance in the process of final check.) There migth be the case that the appearance in our PDF file is different from what you expect due to a problem of font difference. Therefore, please send us your PDF file too (though not prerequisite) for our reference. |
