| The conference proceedings together with a CD containing all papers in PDF format will be published and handed to the participants at the Conference. The cost of these proceedings and CD is included in the registration fee. | |||||||||||||||

| The official language of the Conference is English. All presentations will be in English and no translation service will be available. | |||||||||||||||
| Transportation | |||||||||||||||
| Fukuoka International Congress Center is located near Hakata bayside place, about 10 minutes by bus from JR Hakata Station or Subway Tenjin Station. Subways are available from Fukuoka International Airport, and there are only 4 subway stations between the Airport and the nearest subway station, Tenjin; it will take about just 10 minutes. A surrounding map and directions for the traffic access are provided in the homepage of Fukuoka International Congress Center. Taking a taxi directly from Fukuoka International Airport is an easy and convenient way. It takes about 20 minutes (which depends on the traffic) and the fare may be less than ¥2,000. | |||||||||||||||

Tenjin is the center of Fukuoka City, where many hotels are available.

Although the number of reserved rooms is not large (just 16 single rooms on November 19 and 20, and just 8 single rooms on November 21), we have special reservations at Fukuoka Sun-Palace Hotel which is nextdoor (actually connected by an elevated passage) to Fukuoka International Congress Center. The room charge for a single room per night is ¥7,000.
If you wish to have a reservation made, please indicate your choice together with the dates of arrival and departure on the Registration Form. The hotel reservation at Fukuoka Sun-Palace Hotel should be made on or before October 31, 2007. Rooms will be allocated on 'first come, first served' basis. In the case of late registration, hotel reservation will not be guaranteed and you may be asked to find other hotels by yourself. Upon receipt of your Registration Form, the Secretariat will make the reservation for you, and a letter confirming your reservation will be sent to you by the end of October. Hotel expenses are to be settled directly with the hotel upon departure. If you cancel the reservation after receiving the confirmation letter, please inform the hotel directly (Tel: +81-92-272-1483) of your cancellation as soon as possible. Cancellation one week before (prior to November 13) may be accepted without any charge.

| Reception (Tuesday, November 20, 2007, from 18:30) | |||||||||||||||
| A Reception will be held at Fukuoka Sun-Palace Hotel, which is next-door to the Conference venue and actually the two buildings are connected by an elevated passage bridge. The reception may be planned to be of casual buffet style to provide participants with opportunities of chatting each other with a glass in hand. | |||||||||||||||
| Conference Dinner (Wednesday, November 21, 2007, from 19:00) | |||||||||||||||
| A Conference Dinner will be held in Grand Hyatt Fukuoka, which is located in the Canal City, between Tenjin and JR Hakata Station. A bus may be prepared to convey participants to Grand Hyatt Fukuoka, leaving Fukuoka Sun-Palace Hotel at 18:30. If you are familiar with Fukuoka City and/or wish to go directly, please allow enough time to arrive at Grand Hyatt Fukuoka by 18:45. |
